APN property acquisition kicks off new era
We have a new home!
After a lengthy search, in 1999 we found these 2+ acres. With a lot of sweat equity we went from a wooded lot to a not so wooded lot with a foundation and steel structure to house our permanent layout.

Our 2+ acre plot as it looked from the street when we bought it way back in 1999

Here's looking south along the front property line. The property is narrow and deep, and just over 2 acres.

Here is a picture from within the property.  This is one of the less dense stands of trees!

But trees must go so we can put up our building. David Spencer takes on this tree with his chainsaw.

T - I - M - B - E - R !!

The start of a clearing

A little mechanical horsepower sure made it go easier.

Unlike us, the tractor barely breaks a sweat

Now we're starting to show some progress

Getting down to business! The concrete slab that will be the foundation of our 50' x 50' clubhouse

The skeleton arises

We've come a long way from just a wooded plot

Starting to enclose it. All that insulation is to keep the Texas heat out and the A/C in.

Starting to look like something!  For this we hired professionals.

The shell is finished and ready for interior work

Just think about how much railroad will fit it here!

Framed up the bathroom first

Here's the meeting room.  The layout room is through the opening to the right.

Approximately the same view, this time with sheetrock and lighting
