We've come a long way, baby!
But quantity is not quality. We
have high standards and want our layout to hold its own with layouts
whose photos grace the pages of the leading hobby magazines.
Accordingly, we don't have a time table as to when the layout will
be "done" (is a layout ever done?). Besides, getting there is
half three/quarters
95% of the fun! And the deliberate pace of progress
has not prevented us from the enjoyment of running trains
— the
mainline has been up and functioning for years, and we have all but
a very few of the spurs and sidings in place, to where we can (and do) have
operating sessions. So no matter what a member's interest is
in the hobby, we run the gamut and can offer a little for everyone.
